💦 What is Waterproof Rating?

The waterproof rating indicates how much water pressure a fabric can withstand before leaking. The higher the number, the better the waterproof performance.

For example, a waterproof rating of 15,000mm on a baseball cap means the fabric will start to leak only when a water column reaches 15,000mm in height.

Flotte baseball caps also use heat-sealed seams to further enhance waterproof performance.

This level of protection is suitable for heavy rain conditions ☔

☝️ A quick note:

Even with high waterproof ratings, continuous and heavy rain exposure over time may still cause moisture to seep through.

Only completely non-breathable materials like plastic raincoats with no seams can provide total long-term waterproof protection.
